1. How marks are used on CertForge
Vendor names and exam codes appear on CertForge for one purpose: identifying which real-world certification exam a practice product prepares you for. This is nominative use — the word itself is the only accurate way to describe the subject matter. We do not use vendor marks as our own branding, in our logo, in domain names, or in any way that implies the vendor endorses, licenses or operates CertForge.
We also keep the commercial context honest: pages state that materials are independently authored and not affiliated with the vendor, and product names lead with CertForge (e.g. “CertForge AZ-900 practice guide”), never the vendor alone.
2. Graphics policy: monograms, not artwork
CertForge does not reproduce official vendor logo artwork. Vendor tiles use either original geometric motifs drawn by us, or — where we have opted for maximum caution — a neutral two-letter monogram on a brand-neutral colour dot. Iconography that resembles a vendor's mark is our own drawing, not their file. Rights holders who prefer the monogram treatment for their mark can request it via the IP contact; we action such requests routinely and quickly.
3. Marks this site references
A non-exhaustive sample of the vendors and programs whose identifiers appear in our catalogue (each remains the property of its owner):
Exam codes and objective names quoted in product descriptions are likewise the issuers' identifiers, used descriptively.
4. If you are a rights holder with a concern
You do not need a lawyer to raise a naming or logo concern with us. Email admin@certforge.in or use the contact form with “trademark” in the message. Common resolutions we already apply on request: switch a vendor to monogram badges sitewide, mark a vendor's pages noindex so they drop out of search crawls, amend specific copy, or remove a product. Full process and timings: DMCA & IP policy.
5. Our own marks
“CertForge”, the CertForge mark, and the site's look-and-feel belong to CertForge Labs. Nothing on this page grants a licence to our materials beyond what you purchase.
